Lifestyle Empowerment for Alzheimer's Prevention (LEAP)

The Focus of Our Efforts

LEAP is a comprehensive program that informs individuals in a community about the benefits of healthy lifestyle habits that can help to reduce an individual's chances of having Alzheimer's disease in the future. While there is currently no promises for a cure, our best chances of defeating the odds of developing Alzheimer's disease in the future is by engaging in brain-healthy activities such as physical activity and exercise, creating and maintaining a health eating pattern, improving sleep quality, reducing stress, and engaging in cognitive and social activities. Join one of our current programs to learn more about the brain and how these lifestyle factors impact the the development and maintenance of our brain health.
